The last Climamio game in Euroleague this year. And although first two teams of this gruop are clear, I strongly believe that Italians will have a good game and a victory in this match. Real needs victory to claim a top spot, but I don't think that many things in this depend on them. Climamio has only one loss to Maccabi this year and being such a strong home team they should've gotten worse odds on their victory. This is Euroleague and losing in front of home ground to the long-time rival like Real will be unacceptable. I am sure that Climamio, even without Mancinelli and Rombaldoni will fight at full power and in this case they have many chances to beat Real to whom this loss wouldn't be a disaster at all.

Maccabi is still fighting for the forst position in this group. And I have a feeling that they will get cause I am absolutely sure about their win in this match and think that Climamio will be able to beat Real at home. Even with Real's small victory Maccabi can be on top if they trash Ulker with 20+ points margin. All players are healthy in Maccabi camp while Ulker has huge problems. After huge loss in Madrid last week nothing changed into better side for Ulker. Haislip left and didn't return, Kutluay will play, but I doubt about his form after injury and coach Ataman was fired after restaurant brawl. I see their team totally disorganized at the moment and Maccabi is not the team Ulker has chances to beat, even playing for pride. I think this handicap will be reached before halftime and overall Maccabi victory should be in double digits.

I don't really understand why bookies gave this total on the decisive match. PAO hadn't reached this total in Top16 even once this year. Maybe this is because of "high-scoring" Benetton who managed to score 68 in Istanbul and 80 in Zagreb (30 in 4th Q)? I am taking this offer without hesitation, it is way to high for the game when the victory is so much needed for both teams and quaterfinals is the price of the match. PAO showed great defensive skills in Istanbul last week and I am pretty sure they won't try to run with Benetton. They have to keep fast Benetton players like Mordente and Nicholas at low pace and they will be much less dangerous. I am pretty sure about PAO's victory , but can not imagine scoreline above 80 points from both teams.

This is going to be the battle between offense and defense. I already wrote about Rhein Energie's tactics and style of play few times before, so I will repeat that I don't think they will change anything and will be involved in fast running basketball Oldenburg likes. Rhein Energie will field their strongest squad including healthy best scorer Glen McGowan. Opposite from that Oldenburg has some problems as Bill Edwards and Kristaps Valteris are not fully fit. They both will probably play but even with them Koln team seems to be stronger to me than Oldenburg therefore I don't expect scores in 80's. Also, as in most Bundesliga games, the factor of playoffs is getting more and more important with only 4 rounds left to play and both of those teams still have what to improve (Oldenburg) and defend (3rd postion of Rhein Energie).

4 rounds left till the end of regular Bundesliga season and the situation is still very unclear as teams placed 6-9 have the same number of wins and 10th placed Leverkusen is 2 victories behind. With the loss in this match they will have only slim chances for playoffs and in case of Telekom loss, Bonn team will complicate their situation too. So, it is almost a must win match for both teams and bookies somehow are expecting great shooting game... I disagree. Telekom is 3rd best defensive team in the league, they have clever playmaker in Andrew Wiszniewski and they will play on home court. LEverkusen is on fire with 6 wins in a row, but I am pretty sure this streak will end in Bonn. It is worth mentioning that 8 of last 10 Telekom's games went under 164 and Leverkusen went over only once in last 5 matches. Maybe bookies think that Telekom will be able to concede a lot because they've got 85 from ALBA? It is not reason as Berlin team scores a lot with great offensive roster who don't like to work in the defensive end. I predict around 155 points in this game and Telekom's win with 8-10 point margin.

A game that will probably decide the owner of 1st place in this group. Navarro thinks that Real is going to be 2nd in other group and Barcelona want to meet tham. That means they have to try win this game or not to lose by more than 3 points. I was thinking long time either taking this under or +5.5 on Barcelona and decided to stick with this total. In past 3 mutual games this season this total wasn't reached twice, one time it was over by one point. In all EL home games this season Olympiacos 4 times went over, 5 times under 155 points. The price of this match is bigger than most of previous matches and those things usually don't help for high scores. Plus, I expect good defensive performance of Barcelona as D.Ivanovic is not happy with it. He wasn't happy last week too eventhough they allowed Zalgiris to score only 69 points. I can hardly believe that those teams will manage to score 39 points in each quarter.

For some reason most of people think that Maccabi should trash strong Italian team in this match and talking about huge +/- difference Maccabi should gain from this match in order to overtake Real. I think, they should be worried about victory in this match first. Climamio has no options but win in this match to be able to reach QF. They are coming without Mancinelli, but that only means that they will have 10 equal players instead of 11. No big harm in that and Bagaric solved his personal problems with Repesa and will probably get his usual minutes. Maccabi looked unconvincing in home games so many times this season that I find this handicap absolutely too high. Even in last game vs Real, although they managed to win the game by 15 points, they were trailing by 3 at halftime. Even poor Bamberg had 14-15 point handicap in yesterday match against CSKA. If we can put CSKA and Maccabi in one line, can we compare Bamberg and Climamio?? I don't think so...

They win 4, then they lose 3 etc. Last week they've broken their unsuccesful run by beating Leche Rio and this week they travel to play Manresa who sat at the very bottom for months and only recently improved their position a little bit. In my oppinion, 10 quality players should do their job today tooo playing against only 3-4 good players in Lavina, White, Ricci and Oliver. Although Mnresa managed to trash weak Granada last week 95-72, I don't see it happening today. Girona still has some job to do to reach 4th position to get home court advantage in playoffs and win against not so strong Manresa is almost a must.

Outsider of French PRO A league Brest is hosting 3rd placed ASVEL who comes to Brest with clear intentions to win after two consecutive defeats. Most of victories this eyar ASVEL achieved because of good defense and for the reason that the win is necesarry in this match I believe they will put good defensive effort today. Brest is high scoring team but they struggled more than once this season against top placed teams. They have scored only 63 and 66 points against Orthez, 69 against ASVEL and Gravelines. 140 points mark wasn't exceeded in last three ASVEL games and this offer of 158.5 points looks attractive to me.
